Let
me introduce, I am ADY,
a tricycle,
for friends a
“Recumbent”.
I
have many
friends in the United States, in Canada, in Australia and
only
some brothers in Italy. We like to be different, in
fact cranks come before and then all the rest, however when we
ride a
bike we use feet, or not?
My father is a fool that had designed me, even if a
little different, twenty or so years ago. Lately,
a trouble comes, blocking
him an arm and putting nearly out of service a leg, rendering
interesting
my position of guide and because Internet renders the things easier, he
has decided to give me to the light.
My
mother instead is that crazy woman that has
married and supported him for years and years and had to be a
“second hand” in more of an occasion.
This
means that I am not too complicated,
if someone wants it's enough a little of good will.
In
family we are a little different, I have relatives
with two wheels or three wheels (with the two wheels forward or after,
with the steering in front or behind), but all with the cranks in front
and the guide
position
is bent. On the Internet we are
a lot, home-build or for sale.
I am a classic Recumbent with three wheels with the
two in front steering and the rear pushing, build in steel.
I am a red one with the blue dress!
Now
I leave the word to LUCIANO being
him that has realized me.
Hail,
first
of all what I am NOT. I am NOT an athlete, a smith-mechanic
with workshop, a cyclist with experience or a trader of bicycles.
I
AM a RETIRED with free time, a
model aircraft enthusiast and a dreamer.
I made the recumbent because thus it is more
“MINE”,
in order to save a little,
because however I would have had to modify the control, and because
“you know, the satisfaction! ”.
A great thanks to my wife Adele without whose aid and patience I could
not realize this dream.
I recommend, if you found ADY keep them company it’s a good
Recumbent.
**** ADY He did a lot for Luciano and now is replaced by ADY-2 .
After staying long it was reborn for Adele, a bit improved, with an engine and to be used with two hands.
